When I hear the word "undocumented immigrant" I get a good laugh.  Like somehow these illegal aliens just left their papers on the other side of the Rio Grande when they swam across.  I prefer the term "WETBACK". HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!  Actually though I have 7 legal immigrants, including my wife and her sister and one illegal in my family.

However, if it weren't for immigrants of all stripes very little work would get done.  Illegal aliens do all the hard work including landscaping, hotel work, construction and restruant work and legal aliens do a lot of the high end work including engineering, medicine and high tech.  Ghetto rats haven't worked in generations and middle class kids go to college to study easy subjects like sociology and hair dressing.  Immigrants are what make America great.

On the other hand though, these immigrant children need to be home with their parents despite democrats seeing them as future voters and republicans seeing them as future cheap labor

Eloquent, Fred.  However I take exception to the inference about "hair dressing".  Cosmetology is a very rigorous study and takes hard work and concentration.  To become a truely successful Cosmetologist, it also takes a keen eye and some artistic talent as well as knowledge, skill and experience.  It is very physical and demanding.  It is honest work and serves more good purposes than you can possibly imagine.....

I feel horrible about these children coming illegally to this country.  I absolutely LOVE children of any nationality.  What I don't like is when people cross the border, no matter what age, illegally instead of going thru the proper channels.  These poor children don't know what's going on, but the parents sure do. The woman who does my nails is from Viet Nam.  She came here LEGALLY, waited the necessary yrs., then became a citizen of this country.  Why should we just allow all of these people & children (whose parents are not in this country, but you can be sure they'll be crossing here to find their children & Obama will allow them to stay!) to enter illegally when all of the people who did it the right way look at this and say, "why did I have to do it the legal way & they don't"! That's all I can say. We cannot handle all of these immigrants.  That's why our country has limits each yr. on how many can come here.  It has nothing to do w/not being humane or loving or hating kids.  There is a right way & a wrong way.  Our taxes will be soooo high from trying to take care of this influx, & it's just beginning. And Fred, I so agree immigrants make this country great.  But LEGAL immigrants. Our President has the ability to deal w/this if he only would.  Done!

HOW ABOUT A JOKE-OFF?

George  Phillips, an elderly man from Walled Lake, Michigan, was  going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in  the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window.
George  opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.
He phoned the police, who  asked "Is someone in your house?"   He  said "No," but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing  from me.   Then the police dispatcher said "All patrols are busy, you should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available"
 George  said, "Okay."
He hung up the phone and counted to 30.  Then he phoned the police again.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed.  Well, you don't  have to worry about them now because I just shot and killed them both;  the dogs are eating them
right now," and he hung up.

Within  five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter,  two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the  Policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you'd shot  them!"

George  said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

(True  Story)

DON'T MESS WITH OLD PEOPLE!

I remember Miss Ashbaugh made us sing a solo in class...Linda Wood played the piano God love her.  She had to listen to some mighty awful singing!  It was terrifying especially when one could not sing and then got graded for it!  So relieved when it was over!
