We never realized as kids how great things were in our little town of R.R. And we walked EVERYWHERE before we were 16. As kids, Janet Soros, Barbie and I ran on the hills up on Center Ridge Rd while they were building things and Westgate shopping center.. Today, sadly parents have to either go with kids or they can't play far away. They have missed simpler times with all that's going on today. Thanks for the memories Elle and Larry.

Thank you to Larry Gilbert for finding Jan's obit. She passed in 2016, not 2019, so you will find it there. Also thanks to Evergreen for the very nice write up about her friend, Jan. It's on Jan's In Memory page. And I very much agree with E's ending sentences. Don't forget to tell someone you love them this week!

I'm sad to report we lost another classmate last night, Gary Reis. He had been through so much but always seemed to rally. Prayers for his wife, Nancy, and family. She said they are thinking about a possible Memorial in April.

Barbie's surgery went very well. The third day should be the charm but today she is in a greaat deal of pain. The doctor told her that's the case for the second and third days But she's walking on both legs which they were happy about because some cannot.. I'm keeping her in bed today again and she has a bathroom in the room so it's better than the long walk from my couch! Prayers for recovery quickly.
