Holly....I am so sorry I missed your birthday. But we are all so glad that you are doing well and imagine each birthday makes you feel so grateful.  None of us can imagine what that felt like and then to get a second chance at life? It doesn't get much better than that. So glad that your day was busy and fun filled.   Many, many more.

At the risk of getting in trouble here, I am wondering where we are having Saturday night.  The last time we had one at the Yacht Club, it was in a room by the water & the air conditioning was broken, while most of the women were going through hot flashes & roasted!  Just wondering. I'm sure that couldn't happen twice, right?!  Many people are wondering about that so they can decide on the attire. I spoke w/one person who isn't coming because of the cost of buying new clothes for the different events. Tried to tell her it didn't matter, but to no avail. It's not about what you wear, but about reconnecting with friends and also people you didn't really know that well in high school.

Lin:  I think we should have a beach party and see if we can get kicked off the beach with a bonfire and rowdy oldsters singing "Where the waters, Rocky River..........."don't need fancy duds for that!!!

Nancy Westerfield (Depew)

i agree ellen, lets go to rr beach, people don't fancy clothes for that,at our age we just want to be confortable,no putting on shows, who'e got more money, who cares.  linda, i hope people don't care about what you wear, were just there to see old friends and maybe make some new ones.

happy easter everyone, have a great day, spring is right around the corner for some of us,warm weather here we come.

That is what I told her, but she just wouldn't change her mind.  I don't think any of us care when we get together at mini reunions what we wear, right Ellen & Nancy?  Good grief, we are just now comfortable w/who we are. I felt so out of it in high school, that now I feel whatever I wear is my business. If I don't look good, oh well!!!  But I don't know if the Committee is making this a fancy Sat. nite or what. Maybe she would change her mind if it wasn't.  That's more my point! I am not complaining because I can't be on the Committee as I live too far away.  Just wondering so maybe I could encourage her to come if it's more casual.  If not, maybe I can still encourage her. Or go to the beach as you said, Ellen!!!

hey lyn, i don't who your talking about, but tell whoever we'll go to the beach if she comes into town. tell her we live for the moment, from a family of 10 kids, we were lucky we had clothes, i guess that's why they don't mean that much to me. we will dress just the way we want to,not pricey, but confortable-i'm for all that.try to change her mind,i'm a rr hillbilly, i like no shoes, and easy clothes. have a great easter-see you when i get a mini reunion together for us before sept.

I'd opt for the beach.  KISS is my motto.....

A beach party would be a wonderful idea..at least at some point over the weekend.  Bikinis and Speedos mandatory...oh what an image that brings to my brain.  We'd get kicked off the beach for sure!

Seriously, it would be fun.  I miss Lake Erie.

Friday nite is casual at that restaurant & I'm bringing my i-pod that has 300+ songs from the 50s & 60s. I think she was speaking of Sat. nite & I believe Larry & committee has been planning at Yacht Club. Don't know if that's more formal or not. Doesn't matter a bit to me. I just wish the committee would let people know what is planned so people can plan ahead. I have no intention of buying any new clothes. What I have is fine w/me. Please encourage whoever is in charge to let people know what Sat. nite is. Many aren't keen on the Yacht Club,l but I am happy to go wherever.  Just let us know!

Do not think the committee will go for a beach party Sat. nite, but I could be wrong.  Someone let the committee know & see what anyone thinks!  Maybe she would come.

For whatever it's worth..and I might be wrong...but I think we were going to reserve the Party Room @ the Beachcliff Tavern for Friday night. That is where we had the Homecoming mini. There food is good..and a good location to boot, however, if everyone whant's to get naked on the beach on Friday...i'm up for that Too! ....What a visual!  I remember Dale Stitt and a whole bunch of us rolled a keg of beer down the hill behind Zahnows house only to watch it explode when it hit the beach.Just another example of why I did not excel in Hy Skool!

that's what i thought bruce,i just wasn't sure-did we say naked?,i don't remember that in our talks about the beach, you must AGAIN be dreaming.love ya bruce.
