Ellen Aspinwall (Templar)
As Wyoming winds flow across mountain plains,
And Arizona breezes fan along the arid sea,
Rustling through long rows of desert cane,
Weaving amid the prairie lands with ease,
Continuous breaths of air meandering on forever,
Embracing those who wander their paths,
In endless friendship with the earth together,
Wind, mountains, dry lands and grass,
Are entwined as companions eternally.
Distance and time cannot break this bond,
Of wind, plains, prairie and desert sea,
Nor that of friendships so strongly wound,
Together in shifting zephyrs without end.
Rest in peace, my forever friend.
