Yayyyyyyyyy, Nance for Mikaela's good news!!!!  And thanks for all the work you & our whole committee did to pull off a great weekend!  John, you started the  ball rolling so thank you for a chance to all get together again. Sorry the weather didn't cooperate, but that's life. I could not sit on a bench w/my back for 2 hrs. or so as well as in the rain!!! But, what a great team we had back then & maybe some of us didn't recoginize it because we were more worried about the dance afterward!!!!

Hey John. A very Happy Birthday to you. You deserve to celebrate after all your hard work for the Homecoming reunion. I talked to Sue and it sounds like everyone had a great time.

Just think, at our 50th, YOU won't be any older!!!!  Blessings, Holly

Alan Greenleaf

Came back from a business trip to Houston, and had a chance to visit Fred while there.  I got there early since his development has a tough screening process, but, I made it.  This is us, inside the "wall".  There were tons of pecan trees everywhere, so, Fred was not the only nut!  I would have shown the security people, but they do not like having their pictures taken.  :-)

I'm glad Al made it past the machine guns and razor wire.  I put his name and photo on the security roster but even so the guards are taught to shoot first and ask questions later.   We have a saying down here in Texas, "Guns are not a problem, but having enough ammo is."  That looks like a house behind our picture but it is actually my ammo dump.

Fred, I read Al Greenleaf's post about his visit to the Texas compound, and have two questions:

1.  Who was the older gentleman posing in the photograph with Al, who appeared to be somewhat out of shape?

2.  In front of whose palatial brick mansion was the photograph taken?

Inquiring minds want to know.

(But seriously, hope all is going great for you and your family)

Nanc--So very sorry to hear about your brother's son.  That is just way too much to think of someone that young having had a heart attack & now pulling what has been keeping him barely going.  I wish peace for all of you in the coming days.  Cannot image losing two children.  I went through one w/Lin and it was a nightmare.  Will keep you all in our prayers.

Love to you and your family--Barb

Sorry to hear about the passing of Jeff Clark. Jeff and I always had the knack of finding great way's of getting into trouble together...Jeff and I and Bob Hardesty were referred to as the Three Muskateer's..as we were always  involved in something shaddy..lol!  Good guy...he will be missed.

Bummer, Bruce!  Thoughts for Jeff's family and friends!  And to Nancy and family!

On a different 'note', here's our own master musician at work offering unique musical insights.  Catch "Bolero" which follows "La Mer" as Paul demonstrates on the snare drum a bit.

Jeff came to a couple of the reunions.  I feel so badly as I remember him when he was young and lived nearby us.  Always though he was such a hunk!  Thoughts to his family and good friends.  John, Sally Willey is the one that tried to teach Lin & me to smoke.  Biggest joke--lots of hacking and joking.
