Belatedly, Bruce, Happy Birthday.  I didn't even realize until I saw the date you were born on the same day as my daughter, Tahnee! What a joyous day!!  Hope you did something special for yourself, or just sat around swilling beer if that was what you wanted!

Nance: We are in Estero, which is 10 min. down the road from the Ft. Myers Airport. Or it's near Naples.  Not sure where your girlfriend is, but I could tell you if you tell me how far away it is.  We are on the West Coast of Fla. Sanibel Island where Sue Gammel will be is not far at all.  Think she comes in a week or so. I will have to contact her to find out what date. And Sally Oblinger lives right here. I thought I'd contact her to see if we could all get together. Barb comes next Tue. the 13th & leaves the 21st. My husband goes back to Westerville for that time to check on the business. And it's TAX TIME!!!!  Let me know what date & where you'll be.  We could have our own little mini reunion!!!

Lin & I at her condo in Estero, Fla.  Right down the road from Ft. Myers.  Have been having a great time just relaxing, dinners out, & packing on the pounds!  UGH!!

Hope you have a great time in Fla., Nance.   And Sue Gammel & I are meeting next month. They go to Sanibel Island, which is 20 min. from us. So we will all have dinner or something.

Barb just left, suntanned, and relaxed after 10 days here. Goes home to 85 deg. weather! What gives in Ohio & all of the other states? Fla. is much warmer right now than usual.  No sweaters at nite or ever. Very strange.

Have to do some ironing (yes, I am one of those who STILL irons!). Enjoy the weather up there!

Hey John.  I am so sorry to read of your recent flare-up. Never had heard of hepatic encephalopathy so I looked it up.  It sounds scary and miserable and so on-going.  Does it affect your thinking? Sounds like you are staying on top of it and very glad you are getting some $$$ help with your pricey medicine.  In TX. one has to be about poverty stricken to get a break.

Would you be a candidate for a liver transplant? Seriously.

Nance--for pictures, go to edit/upload pictures on home site.  Go to bottom of the page of your pics & click whatever picture you want as the "Master Photo."  That will automatically show that picture as your "Master" and will show up on the message forum.  Are you back from Florida?  Did you have fun?  When I was at Lin's I talked with Sally Oblinger & also Sue Gammel.  We were to get together w/Sally but the nite we chose just didn't work.  So good to talk to both of them.
