Hey, Nance, thanks for calling Janet Soros.  I have no idea where she lives now, but I know around that area.  Alan, I have to tell you that you guys are so much more fun now because in high school, it was all about sports, and who you could take out, & nobody thought about just being themselves & hanging out w/just girls & guys. You had to give someone your football necklace or whatever. Me, I just got an Air Force ring from Fred & knew I'd marry him by the time I went to college. So, he was my knight who came into my life when I thought I'd never get a necklace from a guy!  He went in the A.F. when he was 17. Was a young senior in hi. school. So we have NO expectations from anyone. I have a voice that still sounds like I'm 2 yrs. old & wrinkles & age spots & cellulite. It's only Sue Gammel that's fighting age. I seem to be too tired to do so!!!  And Fred's idea of a walk is strolling down the street w/a cigarette. So, we all bumble along happily thru Medicare and Social Security. And I could care less whose rich, poor, fat, skinny, just right, whatever because it just doesn't matter. I just love that I've made it this far in one piece!!  Stress is still a factor taking care of all the old folks because they just complain about everything, but we still can leave when we want to!  And I figure I'll be living there one day not too far down the road!

hi linda, janet still lives in rr,so it will, be good to see some of these guys-we sure should have fun-we'll have to think of some more "shower" tales for john since he seemed to like them so much. now aday its about social security, medicare, and grandkids.doesn't matter what you were in high school-i just saw this movie, i guess it's been out awhile-NEVER BEEN KISSED with drew barrymore-about the popular kids and the geeks-good movie-very true-which is sad. now who cares, everyone can be friends and enjoy each others tales about there lives over the years. can't wait to see you girls again-i think there's going to be close to 30 people comming, if they all show up-should have lots of laughs, bring your camera. i hope your voice is getting alittle better-when i had my throat surgery {3 times} my voice was like that to. i sent the weekend with phyllis smith and husband tim and carol walling at phyllis camp ground-what fun. the picture i have up on my post is with us. see you soon. love, nancy

Don't ask Janet Soros or Al Greenleaf anything at the reunion about me because they know too many of my secrets.   Al can tell you about the time I stole a girl from him once though.

As for "coming of age" movies, I like"Pretty in Pink".  I really identified with Andrew McCarthy (Blane).

Nancy Westerfield (Depew)

fred, pretty in pink is a great movie, we wish you could come on 9-11, the "boys" would all be so excited to see you again, and of course us "girls"too.  nancy

Alan Greenleaf

Fred, you got it wrong!  I was Andrew McCarthy, and YOU were Harry Dean Stanton there!

And THAT was back when you looked GOOD!

Hil Nanc: My voice is just a tad better, but people still can't hear me. I try not to talk as much, which is hard! But I am seeing Dr. Sept. 20 or so, so I will once again ask him. He keeps saying not to worry at this point. But it is very frustrating trying to be heard in a conversation. And to strangers or answering the phone at work, I have to apologize & tell them I've had surgery, then they become very patient. Otherwise, they can sometimes be nasty. So I disarm them right off! So glad you set this whole thing up and Larry Gilbert & Toots are coming as well. They rearranged their plans to be there. That's great. What a nice thing to look forward to.  Take care. Love, L  And hi guys--Al, Fred, Bruce, Randy and  Where is John nowadays?  He hasn't written for awhile.

hi lyn, your voice will come back, it just takes time. our group is growing, so we should have a great time. john's probably still recovering from the "shower" talks we had and is getting ready to tell us more about the "big" black football player-i wonder what else he could tell us about him. he sure had some good football stories about the other team players. i hope he sets his clock to 6p.m., so he's not late for 911. see you girls soon. love, nancy p.s. gary mason and jerry gouch are also comming.

I am so looking forward to this. It has grown into quite a get-together.  And Sally Willey, you have not changed ONE BIT!!  I saw Sally at Christmas & she has no wrinkles, same weight, same everything!  I couldn't even get a LEG into my wedding dress if I had to!!  And Marcia, by your photos, you haven't either.  Actually, I have.  My naturally brown hair began coming in blonde! Can you believe it???  Started in college!

This will be a blast. Larry Gilbert said he and Toots will be there because they changed their plans.  What fun we'll have.  See you all there Sat.!

Nancy Westerfield (Depew)

i have to say, helping get this together has beenso much fun, getting in contact with all of you,and seeing what you write-it just really makes me laugh out loud sometimes. we all will make'friendships" all over again, and when we start talking, i know it will be like whenwere right back in school, because who can believe that were ths old-we don't act it. we laugh at the dumbist things now-but there funny to us. we all were so lucky to grow up in the years when we did, i wouldn't change it for anything. we really had so much-sock hops, canteens, god, i can't remember them all-but they were fun. so lets all have a great time this sat., when sept.11, was a very hard day for all of the USA people. we will never, never forget this date-ever. see all of you sat.-bring your cameras. i'm sure john can't buys all of us girls flowers this time-he would be broke, but hugs from everyone would be great. nancy

Hope that Nancy Westerfield (Depew) has some great photos - she took a lot of them.  We'll get them posted on the Mini-Reunions link.  Thanks to EVERYBODY who was there - what a lot of fun we had, and what a lot of love there was in that group of old friends.

You forgot Mimi and Don.  As for the panty raid, Linda, Sally and I waited around till midnight, and when no one showed, we turned in.

I had a great time and am grateful to Bruce for being the initial catalyst for it.  I laughed till my face hurt.  Sorry for those who missed it.  I'm really glad I made the trip and will make every effort to make the next one.
