Children: Emily Spooner Smith born 9/26/78, BA and Master's at Boston College. Married to high school sweetheart, More…Jim. They have two children, Liam, born 5/8/2009, and Claire, born 2/16/2013. They live nearby, and we take care of them 2.5 days/week. Emily teaches 4th grade; Jim is Assistant Principal of our High School.

Molly Spooner born 1/25/82, got her BA at Michigan and Master's at Manhattan School of Music in Voice. Molly is now an elementary school music teacher in Arlington, VA, and was married to Jacob Agnew 4/12/14. Lila Agnew was born to them 9/16/15, Sam 1/21/20.

I retired from clinical practice of Pediatric Cardiology in Albany, NY (Assoc. Prof., Albany Medical College) 4/1/16. Still teaching residents and Med students part-time, but missing my patients and colleagues very much. However, I have never missed working a SINGLE day!

John Dawson badgered me to go on out a stupid blind double date with Marie Grube (RRHS Class of "65) on 10/26/62, and we have been together ever since. Going on that date was the smartest thing I ever did! She is the light of my life and the key to my happiness. We have had a great life together, and hope to have many decades more! We will celebrated our 50th anniversary 6/21/19.
