I have so many memories of Laurie and her family it would be impossible to pick one. We traveled closely together through life in junior high and high school and for some years beyond. Late night phone calls, girl talk, always lunch, Westgate, crusin', The Beachcliff ('The Blob' was especially memorable), sleep-overs, marriage and babies. We eventually lost touch but it saddens my heart greatly that she isn't here any more. And, I've kept my promise, girl.

Laurie: We were "shorthand" pals, and because we were getting A's, we didn't listen and talked incessantly (you, Barb & I).  So, Goldie Strawn would tap her ruler (because she wasn't a shouter) & say, "stop that buzzing you magpies!" Oh my gosh, we tried so hard not to laugh, but it never worked. Then she's get more upset.  Those skills worked well for all of us, so rest peacefully and remember there are many who cared about you.  Linda
