john, i agree, larry should have a medal for bringing all of together. i love this website, and i love the people that i have gotten to know after graduation, then when i was in school. i was to shy,now i'm not. i love our mini reunions and try not to miss any of them. most of the ones who come to these-i never even talked to.  and it does my heart good to know who has a problem and maybe we can help them, close or far away. friends and family are the most important things in life. i'm amazed as to how we have rallied around, phyllis, holly, and marsha.good for us. i'm proud of the class of 63,as all should be,actually i feel younger talking to you guys on here. its fun. lets all try to make the next mini reunion-we need some out of towners to come in. bruce where are you?  ok guys, gonna go, first day back to work after being of for 2 months because of my knee,i'm tired. phyllis, linda, and i went to lunch again the other day-always have a great time, and always talk about our rrhs friends, love yoy guys.

Well, Nance, what a true & nice sentiment.  I was so painfully shy in hi school & I truly couldn't look people in the eye.  I was a puny little hi schooler who never seemed to have a date!  But once I met my husband, I didn't care about what happened in hi school.  He was from Lakewood & we just sailed off into our own world at 16!!  But now getting to talk to & know so many of our classmates has truly enriched my life, as well as given me soooo many laughs.  At these mini reunions, I go home w/a side ache from laughing.  Now I'll be in Fla. so I won't be able to go to one for a couple mos.  But maybe Barb can.  I am so hopeful this year brings good health for everyone, especially Bruce's wife.  The power of prayer is magnificent because I know that's what brought my voice back!  love you & miss you guys!  Linda

hey lyn, your right, we did pray for your voice-i knew it would come back-it's awful not having one,as i told you when i had at least 3 surgeries for nodgals on my vocal cords, and couldn't talk for months women are just meant to talk, and stupid people would talk to you and expect you to talk back-very upsetting. i'm really glad for you, now when you get locked into the bathroom, fred can hear you yell.  hope your place in fla. is nice,we'll have a few mini reunions this spring, i'll try to get them together, and maybe you can make one.  it really does seem like yesterday when we were at rrhs school, this summer i think i'll get a few of us together and go visit it, i haven't been inside since we graduated,it would be fun, walking those old halls, and remembering.

If you've never been to Oregon, or even if you have, you might enjoy this very short, scenic trip along the Umpqua River/Highway 38 at the Umpqua Wayside.  My route to the coast!  Umpqua (thundering waters).

Thanks for sharing - I have been to Oregon once.  Stayed somewhere on the coast.  But, do not remember such a beautiful peaceful drive.  I can just imagine coming around a bend .... pulling over to hear a marvelous string ensemble - handing them a little cash and going on my way.  Here is a business idea for you Ellen.

Did teach 3 summers at what was called the Marrowstone Music Festival in Washington State - overlooking Mt. Ranier and then to my right, I believe Mt. Hood.

best

Paul---You are correct about the mountains in Washington.  You'd enjoy the classical music festival in Coos Bay summers......It's a really beautiful drive along the Umpqua.  Now, if only I could get the musicians to play outdoors.  They refuse, sigh.....something about the music and the wind.  Beginning to think they never heard of clothes pins : )  E

An update on my Lady...my wife. We had a visit to the oncologist last Tuesday, and it was a favorable one.

Another series of scans show no further growth in the tumors, however , no reduction either. The new Petscan was a little more bright than the original which indicates something is "Smoldering" in that spot, but nothing to be alarmed with at this point.

They have started her on a new injectable Chemo which is just a shot in the butt once a month. No major side effects from this Chemo. She feels great...still go's to the Gym...and still works a full schedule.

We are both committed to dealing with this. Thank you for all your prayers ...and keep them coming...

I know that my body will wear out someday, but after all that's just a "pre-existing condition" and it should be covered by Obamacare.  My plan is to have my head sliced off and thrown in a bucket of ice just as my body wears out.  It would then be kept in a state of cryogentics for years if necessary until the Obama scientists figure out how to grow a new body in a test tube.  Then Obamacare would pay for the re-attachment of my old head with my new body.  Isn't government run health care wonderful?  Maybe they could clone my head and I could look like my photo on the right again.  Wow!!!

John,

I thought your efforts on behalf of the football reunion were quite noble and I hope you don't give up on the idea.

Dear Classmates,

Julianne schatzinger (Wilson) and her husband Rob need all  your thoughts and prayers.  They are currently in a hospital in Houston TX because Rob will be having stem cell surgery this Thursday.   The good news is that their daughter is an exact match to Rob so she can be a donor.  But this is a very serious illness and operation so please be with them.  They could use all of our support.  Thanks.

Guy

Hi John

Cowboy Up!!! You big Mary!!!!

One person says something and you take it to heart! The RRHS site is for Fred's enertainment and we need to continue entertaining him.

I don't know the whole story but its easy to block senders if you don't want e-mail.  There are always people you can't please no mater what you do to try and put something on. The person most likley didn't play football and felt left out.

I hope you reconsider.

Randy

Guy

My family is saying prayers for them

John,

Randy is right.  You need to buck up and wear a cup.  After all as Randy said, this site is strictly here for my entertainment and I still enjoy your posts.

Guy,

Thanks for keeping us informed.  We are saying prayers.
