Dear Rocky River friends, I have only been fortunate enough to meet a few of Jim's friends from Rocky River, but those that he is close to from that time are golden. Others may have already done so, but just in case, I wanted to inform you of his passing. His memorial service will be in Dedham, Massachusetts on October 5. Our dear friend and honorary classmate Jim McEnteer died on Monday from cancer. He was in Malibu on a final trip with his wife Cristina and two sons when he died with the waves of the Pacific Ocean lapping outside his window. I am very sad about this as he was a big part of my life in a way for so long. I was so very excited that he showed up briefly at our 50th reunion at Mimi's house but even nicer was that he came to visit me in Vermont for several days during the time of gorgeous foliage. This was about four years ago, and we toured the countryside and talked and talked. I am very grateful for that time together. His family is scattering his ashes in the Pacific as he requested in writing, and I will let you know if I find out any more information about honoring him. Evergreen
